Influence of Teaching Competencies to Performance: Basis for Professional Development

Aims: Teaching competencies are the skills and knowledge that assist a teacher in becoming effective his career. Specifically, this study determined to find out level of personal competence teachers; professional teachers’ performance; significant relationship between teaching which independent variable/s singly or combination influence performance.
 Study Design: Descriptive Survey Method.
 Place Duration Study: The was conducted at seven (7) diocesan schools Archdiocese Cagayan de Oro during school year 2022 - 2023.
 Methodology: respondents were One hundred-two (102) one hundred twenty-one (121) teachers from via simple ransom sampling method. These private institutions managed by nuns.  Results: results showed terms competence, found have very high motivational cognitive competence. Although they vary their mean ratings, as highest ranked second, both still on level.
