Influence of Teaching Competencies to Performance: Basis for Professional Development

Aims: Teaching competencies are the skills and knowledge that assist a teacher in becoming effective his career. Specifically, this study determined to find out level of personal competence teachers; professional teachers’ performance; significant relationship between teaching which independent variable/s singly or combination influence performance.
 Study Design: Descriptive Survey Method.
 Place Duration Study: The was conducted at seven (7) diocesan schools Archdiocese Cagayan de Oro during school year 2022 - 2023.
 Methodology: respondents were One hundred-two (102) one hundred twenty-one (121) teachers from via simple ransom sampling method. These private institutions managed by nuns. This used an adapted questionnaire Stella Maris Academy School Development Plan Davao underwent validity reliability testing with use thirty (30) non-respondent experts.
 Results: results showed terms competence, found have very high motivational cognitive competence. Although they vary their mean ratings, as highest ranked second, both still on level.
